Check out this bulletin board about how it is not respectful to use other people’s cultures as a costume. There are numerous examples of how we use other cultures as a costume for ourselves whether it be for Halloween, Homecoming, or any other event. Often times these costumes do not accurately reflect those cultures and many of them are stereotypes or gags.
This board has information on a lot of common terminology used by the LGBTQ community. I hope my residents will take advantage of this information to better their knowledge of what these words mean. Under each fold is the definition of the word on top.

Thank you to everyone who came down to 3 East tonight for Mario Kart and football, we had a good turnout of 15 residents between all the wings participating! It was nice getting to see some folks who haven’t yet attended many events, since between sports, games and snacks, there was something for everybody! I look forward to seeing you all again at future events!
